I know I know it has been awhile since i post. i am going to update and add pics my computer is being silly.

I am Engaged!!!

So this is a long over due post. but i am engaged!!! i am getting married on August 1st. i am so excited. His name is Devan Vowell. we met through a mutual friend and the rest is history. we became engaged on May 20th. Here is the story of our engagement: earlier that day i was attacked by a stray cat which i then had to get a tetnus shot and had to be put on antibiotics. i was sore and tired and i had to go to work. well devan came and pick me up from work and asked me to ride with him to his brothers house i said okay , i was being a brat in the car well he gets to greenfield and pecos where the new temple will be built and pulls off the road. he wanted to see where the temple was going to be built, but when we pulled over i was like we do not need to pull over the temple is going to be right there there is no point to stop. so he gets on the road and flips around and pulls of again, at this point i was tired and getting alittle annoyed so i was like why did you pull over. devan was like you drive tosses me the keys and gets out of the car. i say no and throw the keys back to the drivers seat. he comes around to my side of the car and i let him know there was no way i was getting out. he opens the door and gets down on one knee and asks me to marry him. the first thing i said was did you ask my dad? i know i am a dork but after he said he did i said YES!!! that weekend we went to my arrington reunion and he was officially accpeted into the family. then the following wednesday my grandma arrington passed away unexpectantly. what a pleasing it is to have the church in my life to know that i will be with my family for eternity. i am so grateful my grandma was able to get to know devan. a couple of weeks prior to her passing i went up north with her and coming back we were playing yatzee and she was getting mad at me and joking around she said "i am going to die before you get married" a week later i got engaged i called her up and asked her if she needs to start planning her funeral cause i am engaged, well a week later she passed away unexpectantly.. who would of known i keep telling myself it was just a joke but then i think was it a preperation... i know my grandma wont be here physically for my wedding but spiritually she will be here. here are some pictures i will update again soon... oh yea i will be moving back into my gilbert house!!!!

Its been awhile

Well it has been awhile since i posted. and alot has happened since then. i guess we can say my life took an unexpected turn. well i turned 22 the end of july. i was not planning on going back to school in the fall i was just planning on working at whitton to earn some money. on August 15 i was called by phoenix college offering me a spot in their nursing program. i of course accepted after being on the waiting list for almost a year and a half. and quess what i started on August 25 yup 10 days after they called be it was all a shock. i put my two weeks notice in at whitton in which i only worked a week more there. it was bitter sweet leaving there i have been there for 3 1/2 years. well i said my goodbyes. i am greatful for the people i got to know there and the friends that i made. well to the present nursing school is fun is fun, exuasting, stressful, time consuming and a whole lot of other emotions you can say. i am getting used to the idea that i am actually in nursing school. this last weekend me and my sister sharee threw my sister kaylynn a baby shower. it was alot of fun to decorate and to make food for it. i am so excited she got alot of stuff. i will be an aunt once again in just over a month i am excited. kay will be a great mom. my best friend also got married, i am so happy for her but at the same time sad to see my best friend married she was one person i could really talk to. well i think that is it for now.

just an update this weekend my whole family was in town it is rare. it was alot of fun i love them so much. my dad was made a high priest. this past weekend i was able to go to my friends brothers funeral though it his life ended in a way no one wanted the services were wonderful. Going to the funeral made me realize how much i take for granted and how i need to spend more time with my family and not be so shy and to live everyday to its fullest. i am so grateful for the gospel and the knowledge that i will be with my family forever. This week i turn twenty two it so wierd to think that i am already that old it seems like yesturday i was playing in the dirt and following my brothers around the house wanting to do what they did. i was able to go to my cousin jacobs Birthday Party. we are a day apart and we usually do a party together but this year it was just him it was so much fun i got to meet and get to know the members in my ward a whole lot better. my sister is gettin huge she has about two and a half months until she has her baby. i am so excited. it is so much fun to feel the baby kick. It has been so much fun this weekend. i went to my parents ward today it was so wierd cause i have not been in a family ward for almost four years. well i am going to go for now. but until next time.

Catch up

So i have not got on here in a bit . but right now i am waiting to get into nursing school. i am currently or should i say still working at whitton companies. not the best job but i can not complain. everything is pretty much the same nothing new. and there are no boys i guess right now i am kind of sick of them and the crap they pull. I love living in the QC it is fun living closer to the barney family. and at first i hated the fact of moving away from gilbert and my friends. but as time was coming closer to move i knew that i needed to move. it has been a struggle being the new girl, feeling left out and like i dont have friends. i wont lie it has been the toughest three months so far that i have had to go through. and right now i look at it as a blessing and a great opportunity it has given me to grow. well here is a pic of my sister kaylynn she is 23 weeks pregnant with a baby boy. i am so excited to have a nephew (just another to spoil)

i saw this movie for the first time. it is a good one.
